LeSwim is a high quality resort collection, which debuted in 2014. Made in Italy, this second skin swimwear offers mostly reversible, interchangeable, and often convertible separates. LeSwim uses super fine, ultra soft Italian fabric, which holds up over time and provides UPF50. The Italian hardware stays cool in the sun and is plated to endure salt and seawater. Made with clean finish construction, the aesthetic is modern minimalism, focusing on superb fit that drapes softly on the body for smooth lines, without heavy-duty compression. A full line of sandals was introduced in 2015. Like the swimwear, the sandals are made in Italy, in an artisanal, family run factory, with attention to details such as fully lined, hand cut uppers with hand painted edges, and leather bottoms with inset non-slip rubber inserts. The resort wear collection is made in the USA, using high quality, imported fabrics, with the same refined palette and clean aesthetic as the swim, creating a full lifestyle destination wardrobe.

Speaking to her love of fashion and travel, LeSwim is designed by veteran designer, Adriana Caras. Her former eponymous collection of shoes and handbags was collection was carried at high-end retailers such as Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Maxfield and Neiman Marcus. Vogue and the Los Angeles Times named her “one to watch,” while top fashion publications, including Elle, the NY Times, In Style and WWD showcased her designs. Caras has also garnered a long list of celebrity clients including Madonna, Eva Mendes, Cameron Diaz, Katie Holmes and Julianne Moore.

Having spent three years in fashion editing and styling, creating hundreds of looks for readers and clients, Caras presents LeSwim as her modern vision for luxury resort travel. LeSwim has received editorial recognition by Vogue, W, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and many others.

The underlying thread of LeSwim’s 2018 collections is female empowerment. Inspired by the show of unity in politically charged times, women have shown they will be heard. From demands for equal pay to encouraging girls to enter predominantly male fields, the push for women’s rights is undeniable. Pop culture solidifies this with the record-breaking reception of the female directed film Wonder Woman.

LeSwim’s Resort 2018 collection: Parallel Lines | a butterfly story is a metaphor for the imprisoned beauty who transforms and frees herself into nature. The styling follows graphic and linear themes, true to the nature of LeSwim’s modern minimalist aesthetic. The Sedona Stripe is our season’s signature print, inspired by the 70s, adapted for today.

Each year LeSwim collaborates with an artist to create a Wearable Art Edition. This year LeSwim collaborates with Kate Costello, who's work is in the permanent collection of LACMA and The Hammer Museum. The special edition LeSwim x Kate Costello features drawings by Kate Costello, from the series Mouths and Fur, which play on the silhouette of the iconic and sensual form of the mouth.
