Le Swim is a sophisticated line of swimsuits and après swim, which premiered its first collection for Resort 2014, and has since made its way into the closets of many of Hollywood’s fashion icons.

With a refined palette, both rich and subdued, the collection appeals to the fashion-forward woman and her resort destination wardrobe. The line incorporates unique details such as bandaging, cut-out looks, and convertible necklines. Most suits are reversible, made in Italy, with seamless construction, and superb fit that drapes softly on the body for a second skin feel. From a retro high-waist bottom to a hipster string bikini, separates are interchangeable, and often convertible, for a personalized look to fit each individual’s style and silhouette.

Speaking to her love of fashion and travel, LeSwim is designed by veteran designer, Adriana Caras. Known by many for her eponymous handbag & shoe lines, her collection sold at high-end retailers such as Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Maxfield and Neiman Marcus. Vogue and the Los Angeles Times named her “one to watch” while top fashion publications, including Elle, the NY Times, In Style and WWD showcased her designs. Caras has also garnered a long list of celebrity clients including Madonna, Eva Mendes, Cameron Diaz, Katie Holmes and Julianne Moore.

Having spent three years in fashion editing and styling, creating hundreds of looks for readers and clients, Caras presents LeSwim as her vision of high-end resort glamour. Inspired by iconic images of Jaqueline Onassis on the Christina O, circa 1969, Caras offers complete looks from swim to après swim for the cosmopolitan global traveller.

With the mutual fascination between art and fashion growing increasingly heated, designer Adriana Caras has joined forces with Los Angeles based photographer, Paul Robinson, to blur the lines even further. Robinson, once hailed by the New York Press as the Helmut Newton of the photography world’s new “Brat Pack,” has been published by numerous magazines including Elle and Interview, and continues to exhibit across the globe. Featuring one of Robinson’s prints from a series of photographs taken in famous cities around the world, LeSwim has digitally printed Robinson’s work on it’s luxurious Italian suits to create a line of wearable art, set to hit the beach in 2015. An up-close look at what appears to be an abstract graphic pattern reveals images of the London Eye shrunken down to miniscule scale.
